Our Story

Far and Away Adventures is a local travel agency tour operator specializing in designing vacations to destinations around the world. We will design a trip with comfort in mind that will take you to unique destinations where you can meet the locals and discover the local culture.

Far and Away Adventures started in 1996 with a small office of one person in Victoria, BC. The company branched into an airline ticket division selling flights under the name of CheapTicketsCanada.com. We have since returned to our roots as FarAndAwayAdventures.com designing unique trips to destinations around the world. Some of our most unique trips include a cruise that is half cruise, half freighter from Tahiti to the Marquesas Islands, old fashioned inspired river boats up the Mekong River of Cambodia and Vietnam, self driven canal boats in France and many more. As a tour operator we also custom design tours to destinations in the South Pacific such as Tahiti and Fiji offering everything from cruises to overwater bungalows and guesthouse packages.
